Raids are starting, and even though there's no trinity, there's still roles to fill during these raids.

The great thing about GW2 is a class can usually fill more than one role, just by changing armor/builds.

Here's what I have plan for an easy way to see everyone's build the day of a raid.

1.Make sure you've added your characters to your shivtr account. (go to 2. if you already have your characters)

Search for your account name, or scroll through the pages to find yourself.

Click on the + to add a new Character to your account

Fill in the Form

So you have your characters created on your account. Now it's time to go get your API key. (if you already got an API key, go to 3.)

Head over to and login with your GW2 credential.

Then click on Applications, and New Key.

Give your key a name, and make sure you select everything.

Copy the following API Key to your clipboard, you will need it in your next step

Now that you have your API KEY, it's time to create an account on

Once you're logged in, access your account and add in your API KEY

Now for the fun part. Through gw2efficiency, you can basically view everything about your account, be it your bank, inventory, builds. You can even search for an item across all characters/bank. But i'm not here to talk about that.

Under Account -> Characters you'll see a list of all your characters.

Select your character, and on this next screen you will make sure you will want to make sure you have Equipment and Build selected in the bottom left.

You will then copy the link on the bottom left of the screen and move to the next step.

Back to the guild website.
Go back to the Roster on the top menu, find your account, and select your character that you just shared/copied a link from.

Edit your character.

In the Bio/Description add some text like "GW2 Efficiency Link", select that text, and click the link icon.
Paste in your copied link and voila!

Now press Update

Repeat for all your characters.

More Information.

You don't need to do it with every single one of your characters, just the one you think you will be bringing to the raids.

Not for this first raid event, but every upcoming event will require to select which character you will bring, and the type of Role you expect to play.

Tank = Toughness main stat gear
Damage = Condi/Power based gear
Support = boon, buff, condi strip, anything else that doesn't fit in the first two.
