Is the intention to deincentivize dungeons
Yes

Is the intention to reduce targeted liquid gold earning, or are you putting that liquid somewhere else thats targetable?
The intention is not entirely to reduce liquid gold earning, we’ll be using up the slack we generate in other locations

What type of instanced content do you see offering marketable rewards that players can take part in on a regular basis?
Fractals
do you see players seeking to earn main methods being through open world and tp trading
I don’t understand this one

reading through this reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3ogusa/the_guild_wars_2_heart_of_thorns_economy/

I have the feeling that they're not just nerfing dungeons, but we might actually see them disappear.

Like they'll keep story mode dungeons, and move some paths to fractals (AKA new dungeons)

WOw. If they are actually fully getting rid of dungeons, thats gonna piss a lot of people. One person being me. 8/
I get they want people to get interested in Heart of Thorns, but getting rid of a thing thats a part of all MMOs is utter bull shit.

Doesn't sound like they will get rid of dungeons. Found this buried in all the text

Dungeons will still drop things as well as they will still have some gold, they will just have much less gold.

Quote from John Smith. By deincentivize I take it they will incentivize something else as far a monetary rewards. The dungeons and all their paths will still be there, just not as big of a financial reward for running them.

Yeah Anet may not get rid of them, but as the rewards for doing them get less and less, people will move on to other things and eventually they'll be all but abandoned.

I can understand Anet's doing this, but still a bit sad in a way. Although I don't run dungeons that much, it is sort of a rite of passage for new players. I won't forget the awe and utter confusion the first time or two through AC 1&3 and the supreme satisfaction of being able to run the tunnel to the final boss without help. And finally understanding what to do in AC 2.
