A few hours ago on the old reddits, Isiah Cartwright from Anet posted a thread about a bunch of super old pictures of whiteboards from when Guild Wars 2 was still a concept. The thread can be found here. Just wanted to share this here 'cos I know not everyone here browses reddit frequently (if at all) and it's just super interesting in and of itself. I've always loved looking at different games and seeing what concepts never made it into the actual game. What do you all think of it?

Read it this morning.

Really awesome stuff. And pretty crazy inside look at the "Making of" skills in GW2 worked.


Also from that thread, I learned that Jon Peters and Eric Flannum left ANET in June and September respectively to go work for Amazon's game studio.

That is sad news. Jon Peters especially was a god...to reddit (and me). Flannum as been kind of MIA since GW2 launched, but was pretty active in the community before launch.
